Our Veterinarians
Dr. Brian Ray, DVM
Veterinarian, Co-owner
Dr. Ray is a dedicated veterinarian and co-owner of Belle City Veterinary Hospital. He is committed to ongoing education, ensuring that both he and his clients are well informed about the latest advancements in veterinary care. With a particular interest in orthopedic surgery and ultrasound, Dr. Ray brings a wealth of expertise to his practice. Alongside his wife, Amy, and their children, Sidney and Charles, Dr. Ray is proud to call Racine home, where they look forward to many happy years ahead.
Dr. Genesia Livingston, DVM
Veterinarian, Co-owner
Dr. Livingston is a skilled veterinarian and co-owner of Belle City Veterinary Hospital. While she enjoys both medicine and surgery, she has a special interest in ophthalmology. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Livingston spends time with her husband, Jerry, and their two daughters, Kaitlin and Hannah. The family also includes three beloved dogs: a Poodle named Athena, a Shih Tzu named Lily, and a Pudelpointer named Finnick. Dr. Livingston is always excited to meet clients and their cherished pets.

Brianna
Veterinary Assistant
Brianna is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant who joined the Belle City Veterinary Hospital team in April 2018. Her passion for animals aligns perfectly with the values of the entire staff. Brianna’s world revolves around her dog, Bindi, with whom she enjoys running and hiking. In her spare time, she pursues hobbies like drawing, reading, and volunteering at the Wisconsin Humane Society.
Brittany
Veterinary Assistant
Brittany is an experienced Veterinary Assistant who has been with Belle City Veterinary Hospital since 2007. She has a special affinity for working with Border Collies. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys traveling, rescuing birds, hiking, and cultivating plants. She shares her home with her dog, Gwyn, two cats, and five birds.
Emmalee
Veterinary Assistant
Emmalee is a skilled Veterinary Assistant who joined Belle City Veterinary Hospital in October 2016 after completing the technician program at Milwaukee Career College. She has a particular love for working with large-breed, fluffy dogs. Outside of work, Emmalee enjoys spending time with her chinchilla, Cupcake, and watching movies with her boyfriend.

Zoe
Veterinary Assistant
Zoe is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant who began her career at Belle City Veterinary Hospital in August 2016 after completing the Veterinary Assistant program at Milwaukee Career College. She is currently pursuing further education to become a Veterinary Technician. Zoe enjoys spending time with her pit bulls, Lacey and Zena, and is passionate about showing her two horses, Casino and Andy. In her free time, she also enjoys archery and fishing.
Eric
Veterinary Assistant
Eric is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant at Belle City Veterinary Hospital, where he has been a valued team member since mid-2003. He began his career as a kennel technician and has worked his way up, enjoying every step of the journey. Eric has always had a deep love for animals, a passion that led him to this field. He shares his life with his senior feline companion, Tommy, whom he adopted when he first started working at the hospital. Married on September 20, 2008, Eric also has a keen interest in computer sciences, pursuing continuing education in that field. He looks forward to connecting with clients and their pets.
Gina
Veterinary Assistant
Gina is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant who joined Belle City Veterinary Hospital in October 2017 after completing the Veterinary Assistant Program at Milwaukee Career College. She has a passion for working with all species, having owned a wide variety of animals, from reptiles to small livestock, as well as cats and dogs. At home, Gina lives with her boyfriend, their three children, their dog Thor, and three cats: Myra, Pinny, and Rosie.
Taylor
Veterinary Assistant
Taylor is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant at Belle City Veterinary Hospital, where she has been a part of the team since July 2015. Outside of work, Taylor devotes much of her time to managing her farm, where she cares for her Akita, Kirah, numerous cats, chickens, a duck, peafowl, pheasants, and two horses. She also enjoys photography and camping with some of her animals in Northern Wisconsin.

Amy
Hospital Manager
Amy is a co-owner and the Hospital Manager at Belle City Veterinary Hospital. She is deeply committed to every aspect of the team and is excited to continue contributing to the hospital’s growth. Outside of her professional role, Amy enjoys working on her six-acre homestead and has a passion for writing. She and Dr. Ray have two wonderful children, Rhiannon and Charles. Their family also includes a rescue dog named Primrose Xander and a cat named Oliver.

Kennel Attendant
Selena is a dedicated Kennel Attendant at Belle City Veterinary Hospital, where she plays a crucial role in caring for animals that need to stay at the hospital for extended periods. When she’s not at work, Selena enjoys kayaking and managing her farm, which is home to three dogs, a cat, rabbits, and goats. Her behind-the-scenes efforts ensure that every animal receives the attention and care they need during their stay.

Caitlin
Receptionist
Caitlin is a friendly Receptionist at Belle City Veterinary Hospital, where she puts her business degree from Coe College to good use in the veterinary field. Growing up nearby, she sought a role in a small, family-owned company, finding that working in reception was the ideal way to combine her passion for animals with her professional skills. Caitlin enjoys interacting with both clients and their furry family members, which reinforces her belief that she is in the right line of work. She appreciates the supportive atmosphere created by her colleagues, making her job even more rewarding. Outside of work, Caitlin’s husband serves in the military, and she enjoys writing, baking, reading, crafting, spending time with her dog and husband, and traveling in her spare time.
